Key Design Features
Cabinetry
To reflect nature, we chose a blend of Polytech Boston Oak and the new Laminex Gumnut colour. The combination of these warm, wood-like tones adds a natural, earthy feel to the space, bringing a sense of the outdoors in. Champagne gold handles from Handle House’s Double Bay series provide an elegant, understated accent to the cabinetry.
Benchtops
The benchtops feature Stone Ambassador in White Truffle, a material with light, subtle patterning that enhances the tranquil, beach-inspired aesthetic. Its soft tones blend beautifully with the cabinetry’s warm greens and wood finishes.
Colour Palette
Inspired by the surrounding environment, the colour palette focuses on muted greens and earthy tones, creating a cohesive transition between the indoors and the outdoors. Warm wood accents complete the look, adding a cosy feel that’s perfect for this coastal setting.
Design Concept
This design draws from Beachmere’s natural beauty, using a green colour scheme, wood finishes, and soft stone textures to create a calming, nature-infused kitchen. Every element was chosen to embody a peaceful retreat that aligns with Simon and Nat’s vision of bringing the coastal landscape indoors.
Outcome
The completed kitchen captures Simon and Nat’s desire for a serene, nature-inspired space. The green tones, natural wood elements, and subtle gold accents come together to create a stylish, calming environment that reflects the charm of the Australian coastal landscape.
